SMK Puger Jember, Industrial Visit at Naval Construction Engineering Technology Study Program SV Undip

Tuesday, April 30, 2024, In order to increase cooperation and promotion of the Diponegoro University Vocational School, SV undip received the arrival of SMK N Puger Jember. This activity contains socialization about the Vision and Mission of SV Diponegoro University, the delivery of Study Programs and the delivery of Diponegoro University Vocational School facilities. This activity was welcomed by Lecturers and Staff of Diponegoro University Vocational School.
SMK Perikanan dan Keluatan Puger was established in 2000 in Puger District or the southern area of Jember regency adjacent to Puger Beach. This vocational school is under the auspices of the Darsul Bihar Jember Education Foundation and Islamic Boarding School. Currently SMK fisheries and marine Puger Jember has 5 (five) competencies of superior expertise and focused in the maritime field, namely, Nautical Fishing Vessels, Agritechnology Processing Fishery Products, Fishing Vessel Engineering, Fisheries Agribusiness, Ship Construction Engineering.
SMK Fisheries and Marine Puger Jember is supported by more than 80 partner institutions (DUDI and Higher Education) both domestically and abroad. With the institutional capacity of Accreditation A, and has bagged an ISO certificate since 2010 (ISO 9001: 2015). This vocational school has passed the verification of the board of seafarer expertise examiners, Directorate of Sea Transportation since 2008. This vocational school also passed the verification of the Director General of Capture Fisheries (KKP) for fish fishing expertise tests and fish catching machine expert tests.
As a maritime reference vocational school since 2015, this vocational school has been appointed as a dual skill teacher education and training center throughout Indonesia in 2017. SMK Fisheries and Marine Puger Jember has had a license certificate from BNSP since 2016 for the establishment of LSP-P1 Network with a total of 12 SMK networks of educational seminars, exchange of climbers and competitions in several countries, including: in Thailand, in the Philippines, in China and Japan.
SMK Fisheries and Marine Puger Jember has carried out character education since 2000, including: Basic Training of Corps discipline (LDDK) cadets and good practices for the formation and strengthening of Pancasila student profiles (P5BK) with semicadet and pesantren systems, link and match synergy with iduka, certification tests for cadets with national and international standards.
Industrial Visit in Marine Construction Engineering Technology aims to establish cooperation, of course, in the field of shipping, expand learning about ship design and construction and create students’ interest in continuing higher education, especially in the field of shipping.
