The Spirit of Heroes for the Future of the Nation

Diponegoro University (UNDIP) held a Heroes’ Day commemoration ceremony on November 10, 2024 at Widya Puraya Field, Tembalang campus. The Rector of UNDIP, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, delivered a mandate that contained reflections on the struggle of the nation’s heroes and the modern challenges faced by Indonesia. The theme of this year’s Heroes’ Day, “The Spirit of Heroes for the Nation’s Future in Combating Poverty and Ignorance,” highlights the role of education and empowerment in combating today’s important social issues.
Prof. Dr. Suharnomo, S.E., M.Si emphasized that the spirit of patriotism can be realized through hard work and academic contributions, including increased research and publications, in order to bring UNDIP more achievements.
