Dharma Wanita SV Undip Holds Sushi and Salted Egg Making Training

Semarang, January 16, 2025 – Dharma Wanita Vocational School of Diponegoro University (SV Undip) held a training activity on making sushi and salted eggs at the 4th Floor Building of SV Undip. This activity was guided directly by the Rector of Undip and attended by members of Dharma Wanita SV Undip with high enthusiasm. This training aims to improve the cooking skills of the members, as well as provide insight into culinary variations that can be applied in daily life and as business opportunities. In the sushi-making session, the participants were taught basic techniques for rolling sushi with various fillings, ranging from fresh fish to vegetables. Meanwhile, in the salted egg making session, participants learned how to process duck eggs using traditional methods to produce a distinctive taste.
The Rector of Undip in her speech said that activities like this not only strengthen togetherness between Dharma Wanita members, but also provide practical benefits for families. “We hope that the skills gained in this activity can be applied at home or developed as a small business opportunity,” he said. The Chairperson of Dharma Wanita SV Undip also expressed her gratitude to the Rector for her participation and guidance in this training. He hopes that similar activities can continue to be carried out with a variety of other skills that are useful for members.
With this activity, Dharma Wanita SV Undip increasingly shows its active role in supporting skill development and women’s empowerment, in line with the vision of the Undip Vocational School in creating a more independent and innovative society.
